MMA, Mixed Martial Arts
MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) is a synthesis of various fighting styles, such as Muay Thai, Taekwondo, and Savate for stand-up fighting. These are followed by Judo, Greco-Roman wrestling, and Sambo for grappling techniques and transitions to the ground, with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu specializing in ground combat. In modern MMA, fighters are trained in all three levels of combat: stand-up fighting, wrestling, and ground fighting.
BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU (BJJ)
is a form of ground fighting without the use of strikes or kicks, instead relying on controlling the opponent, joint locks, and chokes. Due to its nearly limitless range of techniques and combinations, BJJ matches can be highly dynamic and intellectually engaging, earning it the nickname „human chess.“ While significantly improving physical fitness, its practical effectiveness allows practitioners to defeat stronger opponents with minimal physical effort. This makes BJJ a proven form of self-defense suitable for both children and individuals over 50. Despite the vast amount to learn, all fundamental aspects of ground fighting can be mastered within just three months.

CIRCUIT TRAINING
Intensive interval training that works the entire body across 10–15 stations. The basic interval lasts 30 seconds, followed by a short 10–15 second break to move to the next station. In one workout, the circuit is completed 3–4 times. Exercises at each station are selected to target different muscle groups in succession. The name „circuit training“ comes from the arrangement of the stations, where all exercises are set up in a circular layout.
Thanks to the high-intensity nature of the workout, where the body operates at elevated heart rates, it builds physical fitness at an exceptionally fast pace. Depending on the type of training, emphasis is placed on different aspects. In strength-focused training for men, joint mobility takes precedence over a dynamic warm-up, while in women’s workouts, which focus more on cardio and jumping exercises, dynamic movement activation is preferred.
